The SAFEA® platform is part of safety education and training and can be used in various ways:
Application example 1:
As part of a one-day training course for safety officers, participants learn how to deal with various unsafe situations, how to recognize and perceive them, and how to deal with their perceptions - within the company's communication structures. The 4safety learning concept combines knowledge transfer, trying things out in the virtual world, reflection by participants and learning companions, and the exchange of experiences with one another.
Application example 2:
Managers expressed a desire for a two-day workshop on the tasks, duties, and methods for those responsible for occupational safety. In addition to the organizational, legal, and technical aspects, methods for dealing with unsafe situations within the safety organization were to be discussed.
SAFEA® served as the training platform. Participants were then able to learn about risk identification procedures and corresponding protection concepts in an open learning environment. This also included the selection of potential solutions, the choice of solutions and the tracking of measures. A learning companion (safety engineer from 4safety) provided appropriate feedback.
Application example 3:
A medium-sized company organizes an all-day sustainability day to inform employees about various safety topics and to mobilize safe behavior. In total, groups of 20-25 people had to go through 5 stations every hour. One of these stations was communicated as "Safetyfication" and, as part of the playful approach in the VR world, offered the opportunity to find corresponding errors within a set time and thus collect points for the high score list.
Application example 4:
A company with over 2,600 employees at various locations organizes a "Safety Roadshow". Similar to the above-mentioned sustainability day, the stations here move from location to location. The action days took place on a total of 8 days at the 8 selected locations.
The examples given here have a cost range of between €2,500 and €9,000 including technology and station support.
